Vea, Ghana holds a special place in our hearts for a number of reasons. Not only do we consider this village to be our family, but it all started with the adoption of one special child and one special family. In 2009, founder Micah Davidson and his family adopted a young boy named Eli from Vea. The Davidson family adopting Eli quickly led to this vision of adopting the entire community of Vea. There is something extra special about the hearts of the people in Vea and we feel extremely blessed to have Eli with us and to forever consider the community of Vea our family.

In the village of Vea, students enrolled in the sponsorship program walk to and from school each day. Providing $40 a month helps to provide daily hot meals, clean water, medical care, school uniforms and school supplies. The food provided for the students is sometimes the only food their family will have, as they will bring what is left home to share. Help change the world, one life and community at a time. This is what $40 a month can do:
- Education – a school uniform, schoolbooks, and school supplies so your sponsor child can learn, grow, and achieve!
- Nutrition – your child will receive a hot, nutritious lunch at school each day.
- Health – your generosity helps to fund health insurance for your sponsor child, initiatives toward clean drinking water, and general medical supplies.
